The 2018 – 2019 SCHOOL YEAR: 2 Hour-Delay

2018/2019 FALL BOOK RENTAL BILLS went out 11-1-18. Please stop by the Bookstore with CASH or CHECK. Payment can also be MAILED in. We do not take any form of payment over the phone. Please call the Bookstore Manager, Christina Zeller, if you have any questions. Remember, this is for 1st semester only. Spring Book Rental will go out at the beginning of 2019 for 2nd semester as usual.

 

 

 

·         FALL MUSICAL TICKETS: Tickets for the fall musical Mamma Mia! are on sale now. Tickets are $10 for students and $12 for adults and are available in Mr. Antey's Room 143 until the last two weeks before the show.  The last two weeks before the show we will sell tickets outside the cafeteria during lunch periods.  We accept cash or check to "Castle High School."  Please get your tickets early because this show will sell out!  Contact Mr. Antey at eantey@warrick.k12.in.us for questions.

 

SENIORS:

 CLUBS

·         Student Council will be sponsoring a Canned Food Drive beginning November 1st through November 16th. All donations and proceeds will be given to Castle High School families to help them provide a great Thanksgiving meal. Students can bring any canned food item or monetary donation to their first period class. Monetary donations will be used to provide a grocery store gift card to these families. First period classes are encouraged to bring in cans or monetary donations. $1 = 1 can. The winning class will receive a prize on behalf of Student Council.

ACADEMICS:

 

·         Pre-AP English Students: AP Literature/Dual Credit applications are now available. See your current English teacher, see the application box or Mrs. Euler in room 268, or go to Mrs. Euler's website under the AP Literature tab. Applications are due by Wednesday, Nov. 28.

 

·         The Southern Indiana Career & Technical Center (known around CHS as "Tech School") will be hosting some recruiting open houses for students who may want to attend next year. Get a tour of the school, chat with teachers about programs in which you are interested, and learn more about how to apply at one of these events. Be sure to bring your family! The open house is Saturday, November 17, 2018 from 10:30-12:00pm.
