Life Lessons Scholarship Program - In a 500-word essay OR a 3-minute video, please discuss how the death of your parent or guardian affected your life financially and emotionally. Be sure to describe how the loss of your parent/guardian impacted your college plans (e.g., your ability to afford college, attend the college of your choice, etc). Explain how the lack of adequate life insurance coverage (or no coverage at all) impacted your family’s financial situation. Comment specifically on how things might have turned out differently for you and your family if the person who died had adequate life insurance coverage. Also indicate what you have done to provide for yourself and/or other family members because of financial challenges your family has faced. March 01, 2016

Crane Credit Union Scholarship - $1,000 All high school seniors with a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA who are members in good standing of Crane Credit Union are eligible to apply. Applicants must be the primary owners on the account as of March 1. Applicants must also have the intent to be enrolled full-time in the fall following spring graduation at a technical, two year or four year college or university and working toward a degree. Warrick County Farm Bureau Scholarship - $500 There will be one winner from each of the three Warrick County High Schools if qualifying applications are received. Scholarship are available to students whose parents are members of the Warrick County Farm Bureau. March 01, 2016

State Farm Good Neighbor Scholarship - Be a 2016 graduating high school senior. High school seniors must have a cumulative GPA between a 2.5 and 3.2 on a 4.0 scale. Plan to enroll full-time for the 2016-17 academic year at an accredited 2- or 4-year college, university or vocational-technical school. Must be a U.S. citizen March 02, 2016

USI Alumni Association Leadership Award - $1,500 Applicant must be a current senior attending an Indiana high school who shows extensive leadership qualities while in high school. Student must be in the top 20% of their graduating class and plan to attend USI in the fall. March 04, 2016

Logan's Promise Memorial Scholarship - $1,000 Applicants must be enrolled full-time as a high school senior and planning to enter an accredited college or university no later than the fall following graduation; have a strong commitment to not “drinking & driving” and knowledge of Logan’s Promise; involvement in the community, active volunteer and/or charity work; demonstrate academic achievement with a minimum grade point average of 3.0; at least 3 references; gross income per family is preferred; must be able to interview and a United States citizen. Logan's Promise Memorial Scholarship - $1,000 Applicants must be full-time high school seniors who plan to enter an accredited college or university next fall, have a strong commitment to not drinking and driving and knowledge of Logan's Promise, involvement in the community, active volunteer or charity work, US citizen, and cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 Available in guidance office March 14, 2016

Tri Kappa Emma Z. Roth Scholarship - Applicant must be a senior girl with strong academic grades who is active in school and community programs, is a U.S. citizen and Warrick County resident, and plans to attend college. See guidance office. March 15, 2016

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. - Applicant must be a minority female with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and be accepted at an accredited college or university for fall of 2016. March 18, 2016

E'ville Iron Street Rods, Ltd. Scholarship - Seniors who plan to study for the automotive field in college are eligible to apply. March 26, 2016

Play for Kate, Inc. Scholarship - Any graduating high school senior with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA is eligible to apply. Community service is an important factor in determining the awardee. March 28, 2016

Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing Alumni Scholarship - $5,000 This scholarship is to be awarded to the direct descendants of graduates of the Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing or current Deaconess Hospital employees. It has been established for the express purpose of providing assistance to a student pursuing education in order to obtain a license for Registered Nursing. March 30, 2016

Tri Kappa Olive Lewellyn Memorial Scholarship - $1,000 Applicant must live in an area served by Boonville and Chandler Natural Gas, although they need not be a customer of the utility. Student must have a 3.6 GPA minimum and plan to pursue a bachelor's degree in any field at an accredited college or university in the fall. See guidance office. March 31, 2016

Yankeetown Alumni Scholarship - $250 To qualify, you must be an alumnus of Yankeetown Elementary School who has at least a 2.0 GPA. You will need to complete the application form and essay. Available in Guidance or here : April 01, 2016

Fabulous After 30 Scholarship - $500 One male and one female student will receive a scholarship. All applicants must plan to pursue higher education at an institution leading to a degree. Applicants must be seniors who have a cumulative GPA of 2.7 or higher, completed 30 or more hours of documented community service, be willing to complete an additional 5 community service hours with Fabulous After 30, and submit an essay as to why you should be awarded this scholarship and discussing your plans of giving back to the community while you're in college as well as once you graduate from college. Louise Kester Nursing Scholarship Trust - Applicant must be a senior high school student from Warrick County who is registered for a degree program to see R.N. licensure. April 01, 2016

Indiana Sheriffs' Association, Inc. - Applicants must be Indiana residents who are pursuing an education and career in law enforcement. All applicants must be a current member of the ISA or a dependent child or grandchild of an ISA member. There is a membership application attached to the scholarship app. April 01, 2016

Krista Lutterman Hurt Scholarship - $1,000 This scholarship will be awarded to a CHS student-athlete who demonstrates excellence in the areas of athletic achievement, academic excellence, leadership, service, and commitment to school and community. The candidates must be in the top 25% of the graduating class, a member of at least one varsity CHS athletic team, involved in school and community activities, and attending an accredited institution next year.
