Healthcare Leaders Scholarship - $1,000 is seeking applications for the Healthcare Leaders Scholarship. To be eligible for the $1000 award, students must have a GPA of 3.0 or above, be pursuing a degree related to healthcare, and submit a 600-1000 word essay by January 29th. Scholarship is offered once a year and award is paid directly to the student. January 29, 2017

Nancy Jaynes Memorial Scholarship Award (Indiana Breast Cancer Awareness Trust) - up to $1,500 The scholarship for college or post-secondary technical schooling is awarded to an Indiana High School Senior(s) whose parent is battling breast cancer or who has lost a parent to breast cancer. February 03, 2017

Indiana Association of Educational Office Professionals Scholarship - $1,000 1. Applicants must have completed two (2) or more business educational courses, four (4) semesters within four (4) years of high school from among the following: computer programming, accounting, finance, business (management, law, co-op,etc), computer science, or classes comparable to these courses. 2. The applicant shall be enrolled, having made application to an institute of higher education (two (2) or four (4) year college, university, business college, or school of vocational/ technical education). 3. Right to Life of Southwest Indiana Oratory Scholarship - Student must be a junior or senior in high school. Contestants are to research, write, and present an original pro-life speech. This year's theme is "Every Life has Value." The following specific issues can be addressed: abortion, euthanasia, infanticide, or stem cell research. The speech is to be 5-7 minutes in length. Props are not allowed. February 16, 2017

Right to Life of Southwest Indiana Art Contest - All students enrolled in grades 9-12 are permitted to enter. Any 2-dimensional work is acceptable. Work must be mounted to a 20 x 30 poster board. This year's theme is "Every Life has Value." Work can be approached from the angle of Abortion, Euthanasia, Infanticide or Stem Cell Research. February 16, 2017

Cyberbullying Prevention for Teens Scholarship - $1,000 Applicant must be high school student. Applicant must write an article of 600-1000 words on the topic “Why is it important to stop cyberbullying?" February 28, 2017

Tri Kappa Erma Ribeyre Greathouse Scholarship - Applicant must be a senior in high school and have applied to college or a vocational school. February 28, 2017

Delta Kappa Gamma Society - Pi Chapter - $1,000 All High School seniors entering any area of teaching may apply for this $1,000, one time scholarship. March 01, 2017

Warrick County Farm Bureau Scholarship - $500 Scholarships are available to Warrick County Farm Bureau, Inc. member families. March 01, 2017

Crane Credit Union Scholarship - $1,000 All high school seniors who are members in good standing as primary account holders at Crane Credit Union are eligible. Applicants must have a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA. March 01, 2017

The Women's Club of Newburgh Scholarship - $1,000 The Women’s Club of Newburgh funds scholarships for area high school graduates seeking higher education. Three (3) $1,000 scholarships are given to students based on scholarship, leadership and community service. Scholarships are available to students living in Warrick County. Awards will be given to candidates exhibiting excellence in areas including academics, extracurricular participation, work experience, community involvement and character. An essay will be required with the application stating why the candidate believes he or she deserves this scholarship. March 03, 2017

ETFCU Ted Hitch Scholarship - $5,000 Either the applicant or the applicant's parents/guardians must have been members of ETFCU for at least one year by the March 3 scholarship application deadline. Use of services provided by ETFCU (ETFCU Financial Group and ET Shield) do not qualify as membership in the credit union. Applications will be accepted from graduating high school seniors planning to attend an accredited institution of higher learning as a full-time undergraduate student for at least the coming year. Applicants should have a minimum 3.75 GPA (without rounding up) on a 4.0 grading scale. Immediate relatives (children, stepchildren, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters, and parents) of ETFCU officials, employees, and scholarship committee members are ineligible. Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing Alumni Entry Level Nurse Scholarship Program - up to $15,000 The Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing Alumni offers scholarships up to $15,000 to be distributed to the most qualified applicants of direct descendants of graduates of the Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing in Evansville, Indiana. The scholarship has been established for the express purpose of providing assistance to a student pursuing education in order to obtain a license for Registered Nursing. March 10, 2017

Gill Orthodontics Scholarship Program - $1,000 Applicants must currently be in orthodontic treatment or have completed orthodontic treatment by Dr. James Gill, D.D.S. Applications will be accepted from graduating seniors planning to attend an institution of higher learning for at least on year. All applicants must have a GPA of at least a 2.5 to be considered. Scholarship recipients will be determined based on essays, academic achievement and participation in school and community activities. March 15, 2017

Logan's Promise Scholarship - $1,000 The students eligible for Scholarship must be a graduating full-time high school senior who attend Vanderburgh County, Warrick County, Posey County or Gibson County schools in the State of Indiana or Henderson County in the State of Kentucky. Applicants must be planning to enter an accredited college or university no later than the fall following graduation. Applicants must have a strong commitment to not “drinking & driving” and knowledge of Logan’s Promise; involvement in the community, active volunteer and/or charity work; demonstrate academic achievement with a minimum grade point average of 3.0; at least 3 references; gross income per family is preferred; must be able to interview and a United States citizen. Applicants must fill out an application and complete an essay on Logan’s Promise and how it influences your choices in life. Applicants are expected to complete 15 hours minimum of Logan’s Promise volunteer time and attend one of the counties specified. Scholarship March 19, 2017
