University of Dayton Leadership in Service Scholarship - $2,500 per year for four years Qualified students have applied to the University of Dayton and have a desire for personal development and are committed to service wthin school, church, or community. ETFCU Ted Hitch Scholarship - $5,000 Applicant or applicant's parents/guardians must have been members of ETFCU for at least one year by the scholarship application deadline. Applicants should have a minimum 3.75 GPA after the seventh semester. Relatives of ETFCU employees and scholarship committee members are ineligible. On file in the guidance office. January 30, 2015

SIUE Alumni Association Legacy Scholarships - $5,000 - full tuition These scholarships are open to the children, grandchildren, siblings, spouses or partners of SIUE alumni. Applicants are judged not only on their GPA and ACT/SAT scores, but also on their community service, after-school activities, financial need and an essay question. January 30, 2015

SIUE Stahlschmidt Family Legacy Scholarship - $1,500 Two incoming freshman will be selected based on financial need, GPA, ACT/SAT scores, community service, after-school activities and answers to essay questions. January 30, 2015

SIUE Alumni Association Board of Directors Scholarship - $1,000 One SIUE student per year will be awarded this scholarship based on leadership skills and campus/community involvement. January 30, 2015

Ball State Miller Business Scholarship - All application materials must be RECEIVED BY Jan. 31. Students must plan to study business and be one of the strongest business students at BSU. The profile of current Miller Scholars includes an average high school GPA of 3.82, an average SAT of 1850, an average ACT of 28, and a strong college-prep curriculum of honors, AP, and dual-credit courses. Indiana Earth Science Teachers Association - $500 Applicant must be enrolled in an Earth Science Teaching major or Geoscience field of study in an Indiana college; Applicant must be sponsored by a current IESTA member; Applicant must write a short essay (no longer than one page) explaining their educational goals in their chosen field of Geoscience. January 31, 2015

Playing With Purpose - Open to current 10-12th grade students who are varsity-level players in at least one sport, have a minimum 2.0 GPA and are committed followers of Jesus Christ. February 01, 2015

AXA Achievement Community Scholarship - $2,500 Applicants to the AXA Achievement Community Scholarship must be United States citizens or legal residents living or claiming residency in one of the 50 United States, District of Columbia or Puerto Rico; be current high school seniors who plan to enroll full-time in an accredited two-year or four-year college or university in the United States for the entire 2015-2016 academic year, and demonstrate ambition and self-drive as evidenced by outstanding achievement in school, community or work-related activities. Special consideration will be given to achievements that empower society to mitigate risk through education and/or action in areas such as financial, environmental, health, safety and/or emergency-preparedness. Only the first 10,000 applications will be accepted. February 01, 2015

Melba Jean Racener Scholarship - $1,000 Graduating seniors of any accredited high school whose home residence is in Daviess, Gibson, Knox, Perry, Pike, Posey, Spencer, Vanderburgh or Warrick counties in Indiana. Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA and be planning to pursue post-secondary education in advertising, marketing, communications or a related field. February 04, 2015

Nancy Jaynes Memorial Scholarship Award - up to $1,500 This scholarship will be awarded to a high school senior(s) whose parent is battling breast cancer or who has lost a parent to breast cancer. Kiwanis Indiana Foundation Scholarship - $1,200 Open to your graduating seniors. Applicants must attend a school in Indiana for their post-high school education to qualify. A transcript of grades must accompany the application. Students should not use the back side of the application form. They should attach extra pages for additional information. In guidance office. Beta Sigma Psi Martin Luther Scholarship - $2,000 Open to young men who are confirmed members of a Lutheran congregation who will be attending their first year at any accredited 4-year college or university. In guidance office February 14, 2015

Beta Sigma Psi Christian Leadership Award - $1,500 Open to young men who are confirmed members of a Lutheran congregation who will be attending their first year at either Purdue, University of Illinois, or Indiana University. In guidance office. There is a separate application for each school, so be cautious when picking up! February 14, 2015

National Co-op Scholarship Program - Scholarships are available to students who plan to complete cooperative education and are admitted to one of the 11 WACE partner institutions: Clarkson University, Oswego State University, Drexel University, University of Cincinnati, Johnson & Wales University, University of Massachussetts Lowell, Rochester Institute of Technology, The University of Toledo, Wentworth Institute of Technology, Merrimack College, or Kettering University. Jay Lampton Memorial Scholarship - Graduating seniors of any high school served by the Community Foundation Alliance with a 2.0 cumulative GPA and who have been enrolled in technology courses during high school are eligible. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and be planning to pursue post-secondary education at the Lincoln College of Technology or another institution of higher education seeking a degree in auto mechanics. February 20, 2015

John Leon Susott and Kathryn Campbell Susott Memorial Scholarship - $750 Graduating high school seniors residing in the Elberfeld, Indiana area. Applicants must plant to attend an Indiana public college or university and demonstrate an aptitude in music or art. February 20, 2015

Raymond Fletcher McIntyre Scholarship - $600 Graduating seniors of any Warrick County high school with a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA planning to pursue a degree in automotive technology at any accredited technical or vocational school, college or university. February 20, 2015

Rob Graper Memorial Scholarship - $2,500 Graduating seniors of Castle High School with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA. February 20, 2015

Sarah Frizzell Memorial Scholarship - $2,000 Graduating seniors who live in Warrick County and are pursuing post-secondary education. Applicants must be current members in good standing of 4-H. February 20, 2015

Southwestern Indiana Master Gardener Association Scholarship - $2,000 Graduating seniors or graduates of any high school located in Gibson, Posey, Vanderburgh, or Warrick counties who are planning full-time enrollment at an accredited college or university as an incoming freshman, sophomore or junior. Applicants must have a minium 2.65 cumulative GPA and be planning to major in horticulture, botany, or landscape architecture. Past recipients of the scholarship may reapply; however, renewal awards are not guaranteed. February 20, 2015

Martin Luther King Jr. Essay Contest - $200 - $500 Only 5 essays from Castle High School may be submitted. Students must write an essay of 450 words or fewer based on this MLK quote: "If you can't fly then run, if you can't run then walk, if you can't walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward." February 28, 2015

Americanism Essay Contest - $50 Students in grades 9-12 are eligible to participate. Contestants should write an essay of 450-500 words about the topic, "What Does Freedom Mean to My Family?" on file in guidance office February 28, 2015

Delta Kappa Gamma Scholarship - $1,000 This scholarship is for seniors who will be majoring in education. Although Delta Kappa Gamma is an honorary society of women educators, our scholarship has often been awarded to young men, as well as women, who are planning to major in education. March 01, 2015

Women's Club of Newburgh Scholarship - $1,000 Awards will be given to candidates exhibiting excellence in areas including academics, extracurricular participation, work experience, community involvement and character. under the "Philanthropy" tab March 03, 2015

Morehead State University Non-Resident Academic Scholarship - $8,000 per year Must be admitted to MSU and meet certain academic requirements. See MSU's file in guidance for more information. March 15, 2015

Gill Orthodontics Scholarship - $1,000 Two nonrenewable $1,000 scholarships are awarded yearly to eligible high school seniors who are in treatment or have completed treatment with Gill Orthodontics. Scholarship form available on March 16, 2015

E'ville Iron Street Rods Automotive Education Scholarship - $3,000 This scholarship is open to seniors enrolled in Auto Body or Auto/Diesel Mechanics classes who plan to continue their education in the automotive area. On file in guidance March 26, 2015

Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing Alumni Scholarship - up to $2,500 This scholarship will be awarded to the direct descendants of graduates of the Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing in Evansville, Indiana who are pursuing education to obtain a license for Registered Nursing. March 30, 2015

2015 Rotary Club of Warrick County Service Above Self Award - $750 Award will be given to a senior at either Castle, Boonville, or Tecumseh high school. The selection criteria include: Service Above Self Qualities, Leadership Qualities, School and / or Community Service, Financial Need, and Optional Letters of Reference. March 31, 2015

Yankeetown Alumni Scholarship - $150 To be eligible, students must be graduates of Yankeetown Elementary who have a 2.0 or higher cumulative high school GPA. Students will be required to write an essay explaining their continuing education plans. In guidance office. April 01, 2015

Greater Evansville United States Bowling Congress Association Scholarship - up to $1,000 Scholarship will be awarded to a high school senior who has been a member of the GEUSBCA for 2 of the last 4 years or who has a parent who has been a member of the GEUSBCA for 2 of the last 4 years. Scholarship will be awarded based on academics, leadership, and community involvement. On file in the guidance office. April 15, 2015

Kyle L. Parker Memorial Golf Scramble - $4,000 Applicants must reside in Vanderburgh, Posey, Warrick, Gibson, or Henderson County; be graduating high school and planning to attend college in the fall of 2015; be able to demonstrate and provide documentation of a commitment to community service; and have at least one parent or guardian who is deceased. Aspiring Fashion Professional Scholarship - $1,000 This scholarship will be awarded to a student interested in pursuing a fashion degree at a postsecondary institution. June 01, 2015

Aspiring Animation Professional Scholarship - $1,000 This scholarship will be awarded to a student who is interested in pursuing an animation career path at an accredited postsecondary institution. June 01, 2015

Athnet Sports Recruiting Scholarship - $1,000 Write a 400-500 word essay describing how the lessons you have learned through playing sports have positively impacted you as you pursue your college education. June 01, 2015

Athletic Sports Scholarship Essay Contest - $1,000 Current or former student-athletes are eligible to apply, even if they do not plan to play sports in college. Students will be asked to write an essay about a time you were the leader in an important moment on the field or in your community. Describe what you did and what you learned from that experience. The essay needs to be written in 1,000 words or less. July 01, 2015
