Welcome to Newburgh Elementary School!  I have enjoyed working as part of the WCSC since 1997 when I started as a sixth grade teacher at John H. Castle Elementary.  After serving as a teacher, I was fortunate enough to change roles and became the assistant principal at John H. Castle and Chandler Elementary Schools.  I was then given the opportunity to move to Newburgh Elementary as principal during the 2008-2009 school year, and I have been enjoying my time here ever since!

I am an extremely proud father of two (Ethan and Elsie), and I am married to a wonderful Kindergarten teacher, Julie.   You can typically find me enjoying activities and sports with my children, cycling around town, or trying to better my lap times during amateur auto racing events with the Sports Car Club of America.

Newburgh Elementary is a very special place with a long history of educational excellence serving the students of our community.  Many people describe our school as a large school with a small family feel, and I could not agree more!  We are proud of our students, staff, community, and the rich educational traditions we strive to improve upon every day!

We are a team of educators working to challenge and help our students grow to reach their highest potential.  What does it take to be a “WILDCATS” teacher?
