C. Richard Johnson a& Verna Louise Johnson Scholarships - $2000 Established in 2014 to honor worthy WCSC graduates who wish to pursue their education in Journalism and/or Music (or related fields). Mr. Johnson and his father were founders/owners of the Warrick Standard Newspaper (for over 100 years) and Mrs. Johnson was a member of the Evansville Philharmonic. They had no children and made plans to leave part of their legacy in this foundation to support our students. Mrs. Johnson passed away in April 2015. The foundation is set for BHS, CHS, and THS to give (2) scholarships of $2,000 each year. One for Journalism (or related) and one for Music (or related). Kyle Parker Memorial Scholarship - $4000 Kyle Parker was killed tragically in a car accident in 2009 and left behind two young sons. The goal of this scholarship is to help a local high school senior who has been through a similar unfortuante situation.
