Castle Elementary School Administration
The administrative staff at Castle Elementary School is fully dedicated to maintaining an environment that is conducive to academic success for every student.
Mr. Adam Schmitt
Mr. Schmitt began his career at Stringtown Elementary School in Evansville, Indiana, teaching fourth grade. He then spent the next four years teaching second grade and fifth grade at Sharon Elementary School. The following two years, he was the assistant principal of Lowell Elementary School in Princeton, Indiana. Mr. Schmitt became an assistant principal in the Warrick County School Corporation in 2012. The 2019-2020 school year is Mr. Schmitt's first year as principal of John H. Castle Elementary School.
Mr. Schmitt received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Southern Indiana.
Mr. Tim Long
The 2019-2020 school year is Mr. Long's first year as assistant principal at John H. Caslte Elementary. Prior to joining John H. Castle, he was the principal at Tennyson Elementary. He also served as Athletic Director at Tecumseh High School prior to becoming a principal at Tennyson.. He began his education career at Oakdale Elementary School in 2003. Mr. Long attended the University of Evansville and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree. He received his Masters of Science degree from Walden University and went on to receive a Masters in Education Administration from Purdue University.
Mr. Long and his wife, Joni, are the proud parents of three children. Daughter, Avery, and sons Braydon and Caleb.
