Kindergarten round-up for fall of 2017 will be conducted April, 6, 2017, 9:00am - 2:00pm at your local elementary school.
Documents necessary for enrollment include a certified Birth Certificate (hospital certificates are not accepted), and immunization records. Immunization requirements are listed hereand information is available at each school. If you have questions regarding immunizations or other health-related information, feel free to contact the school nurse.
Indiana State guidelines require that a child must be five (5) years of age on or before August 1, of the year of enrollment to enter kindergarten. Parents of children who will be five (5) years of age after August 1, but before October 1, of the year of enrollment who feel that their child is ready for kindergarten, may appeal the age rule. An appeal may be initiated by contacting the school principal. If there are further questions, contact the school principal or the Curriculum/Instruction Office (897-6037).
