Special Education Director

Mrs. Wagner has worked with the students and families of the Warrick County School Corporation since 2004. She began her career as a School Psychologist with the Gibson-Pike-Warrick Special Education Cooperative and remained with the Warrick County School Corporation after its dissolution in 2011. She served in this role through December 2016, working in several schools within the district including: Chandler, Yankeetown, Newburgh, Loge, Tennyson, Castle High School, and Castle South Middle School. Mrs. Wagner additionally served as a Special Education Supervisor starting in August 2012. She assumed her current position of Special Education Director in January 2017.

Mrs. Wagner earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from St. Joseph’s College in Rensselaer, IN. She then attended Indiana University earning a Masters of Science in Educational Psychology and an Educational Specialist degree in School Psychology. She completed her certification for her Director of Exceptional Learners license at Ball State University.

Mrs. Wagner has lived in Warrick County since 2004 with her husband and two children.  Her husband Matt has spent his career educating the students of Warrick County since 2001. Their children keep them busy with all of their activities from multiple sports to Show Choir. As a resident, employee, and parent of Warrick County students, Mrs. Wagner could not be more excited and dedicated to supporting the students, parents, and staff in our school corporation.
